Australian Property Growth Fund was officially incorporated in 2004, although the company’s origins can be traced back twenty years when the current directors and senior management commenced work in the property industry with Leyshon Pty Ltd.
Bob Bryan, former APGF Chairman and current Non-Executive Director, made his initial wealth from the Mt Leyshon Goldmine near Charters Towers, from 1982 to 1988 through his company Pan Australian Mining Limited. In 1988, APGF Managing Director Geoff McMahon began working for Bob Bryan and the pair formed a solid and successful working relationship which stands today.
In 1990 the Bryan Family Trust established Leyshon Pty Ltd, the founding and principal investor in APGF, to focus primarily on the property industry. Since 2001, Leyshon Pty Ltd and a number of high net worth investors have contributed the equity for property projects. APGF was formed following the merger of Blue Tower Trust and Leyshon Property Fund No. 3, listed on the Bendigo Stock Exchange, and now the National Stock Exchange of Australia (NSX).
APGF has been managed and operated by a stable and core group of executives and directors since its inception. The team is respected for their decades of experience and credibility in the professional property industry, and has participated in more than $2 billion worth of property investments and developments throughout Australia.
